surrender
to trust the One who made us
the old and new of things the hope and fear of release how rare are peaceful transfers of power over the tenderest territories of our hearts how rare and how beautiful when we can earnestly give up control and trust the One who made us
Psalm 100:3 // Know that the Lord Himself is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Isaiah 45:9 // Woe to the one who quarrels with his Maker—
An earthenware vessel among the vessels of earth!
Will the clay say to the potter, ‘What are you doing?’
John 10:10-11 // The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.
